Arvada Harvest Festival 2011
The annual Arvada Harvest Festival is one of the most spirited events in the country – in fact, it is boasted as the largest community parade between Chicago and Los Angeles. The last thing an Arvada resident would want to do on such an epic day is forget their camera. So, if you’re wondering why the pictures from this monumental Arvada seem low-res and less than spectacular, they were taken with my wife’s iPhone 3GS. She has been attending this even every year since becoming a Secrest School teacher 6 years ago. I had more important things to do – like mowing the lawn and getting ready for some college football games. If you get the feeling from the picture that this was a perfect day in Arvada for a parade, you couldn’t be more accurate. The deep blue skies and weather were flawless from sunrise to sundown.
